Karen was born and raised in New Jersey and still thinks of the Garden State as home. She picked up the pen at an early age, rewriting the endings to her favorite books. It was a mostly unsuccessful endeavor, but she likes to think she invented fanfiction. After a successful career as an award-winning journalist, Karen stepped away from her position as lifestyle editor at a daily newspaper to focus on her first love—fiction writing. The hours aren’t as long and the commute much shorter!
When she isn’t writing, she is reading, watching hockey—go Flyers!—listening to music, or practicing yoga.
Karen is married to her favorite lead guitar player. They have four grown children and two hilarious furbabies. She currently lives in Northeast Pennsylvania, although her heart is usually in Maine.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m really glad you found me. 🙂 I’m writing a Christmas novella with Billy and Kate set in 1995 that will be out in October. My next book, Miss February, should be out early next year. Make sure you’re signed up for my newsletter and my Facebook page so you’ll know what’s happening. Thanks again! Karen

Thank you so much, Ann! I’m glad you liked the series. Did you get to read the novella as well? That just came out Oct. 17. It’s a Christmas with Kate and Billy set in 1995. And I am busy writing. My next book will be out Feb. 14. It’s the first of a duet and it will be called “Miss February.” The second book won’t be far behind.
Thanks again for making my day!

Just finished Broadway Beans last night and wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed all of it. It not only included a great Italian family but my favorite things in NYC like Broadway and Italian delis. Just starting a second book now. I also live in Northeast PA but my heart is in NJ and NYC.
